APLOG, the Portuguese Logistics Association, will hold its 23rd Logistics Congress on 9 and 10 November at the PT Meeting Center – Parque das Nações in Lisbon, under the theme “From Resilience to Recovery”.

The logistics sector, like so many other sectors, is undergoing a process of profound change and adaptation, mainly due to the current pandemic situation we are experiencing. Logistics management therefore requires, today more than ever, a capacity to adapt, where the challenge for its managers is to respond quickly and effectively at the same time. The challenges range from urban logistics to e-commerce, from automation to artificial intelligence, from infrastructures to specific chains such as healthcare.

For two days there will be an open forum for logistics professionals, which is usually attended by around 400 participants, representing the most diverse areas of activity, mostly senior managers such as directors, administrators, presidents and professionals in other managerial positions.

The Congress includes plenary sessions with a strategic and conceptual content, panel debates, parallel sessions of a technical and practical nature, demonstrations of good logistics practices, as well as the promotion of networking and strategic relationships.

After 2020 was a year of profound transformation, in 2021 APLOG continues to be resilient, so that together we can recover and guarantee the competitiveness of Logistics in the future.
