"Innovation is not Helmets for Carrier Pigeons" with António Paraíso at Empack and Logistics & Automation Porto
Empack and Logistics & Automation Porto is already on 19 and 20 April and has a wide programme of debates and conferences focused on the growth of the sector. One of this year’s highlights is the inspiring and motivational presentation by António Paraíso, a speaker who promises to bring new ideas and provoke necessary reflections for companies and professionals, with a focus on change and improvement.
With the motto “Innovation is not Helmets for Carrier Pigeons”, António Paraíso will inspire visitors to the fair and make known the formula for innovation, which encompasses great mental elasticity and a lot of creativity, in addition to promoting debates and bringing new ideas to improve the results of companies and people. The conference will take place on 19 April at 12:25 pm and is free to attend for professionals in the sector.
“Value is the key word and the main ingredient of innovation. When innovation is well thought out and planned, and done in a continuous process, it adds a lot of value to the company’s business, allows it to differentiate from the competition and win new customers. This is the focus of my talk, which will be complemented with case studies and new ideas to inspire participants and generate change”, says António Paraíso.
Oscar Barranco, Managing Director of Easyfairs Iberia, believes that “at a fair like this, where exhibitors have the space to present new products and solutions to the market, it is equally important to give professionals the tools to stay motivated and believe that it is possible to improve and grow. Innovation is the watchword and should be constantly in our thoughts, so I think this is the right motto to inspire the sector not to give up and seek to do more and better”.
With 34 years of experience, António Paraíso has a degree in Management Consulting from the University of Porto and has, among other training in marketing, management and innovation, an Executive MBA with specialisation in Marketing from Porto Business School. He is currently a Consultant and Trainer in the areas of marketing, luxury, innovation, sales and internationalisation and already has a range of companies with which he has worked such as L’Oreal, Deloitte and Galp Energia.
Empack and Logistics & Automation Porto already has more than 70 national and international exhibitors confirmed, including Panotec, Craemer, Elevah, Bowe Group and Sicnova. During the 19th and 20th of April, Exponor will be the stage for the latest technological advances and machinery for logistics, packaging, automation and transport, and a great opportunity to learn about new solutions for the most diverse businesses.
In addition, professionals attending the event will also be able to enjoy conferences with market leaders such as Jerónimo Martins, Nespresso, Smart Waste Portugal, Veolia, Planet Paper, Slimtock, Körber, Abreu Logistics, Volta Trucks, CTT and Luis Simões, among others, and live demonstrations, through the scheduled Innovation Tours and the dynamic session organised by ICIL on Gamification and the Supply Chain in the Metaverse.
