Industry 4.0 has led us to update our computer-assisted maintenance systems in terms of searching for information and optimising fault resolution, giving even more importance to existing software tools. One of the most widely used is artificial intelligence (AI), which helps us to interpret possible faults in more detail with historical knowledge of machine maintenance, in order to condense all the information into a single tool. This allows us to improve our reaction time and maintain the service rate, increasing machine availability. This conference will discuss the key points for the correct use of AI in the analysis of industrial maintenance in production centres.
